Administrative Assistant

 

DataCreatives, Inc, a technology development company is currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to work with us and our clients in Downtown Vancouver.

 

Position: Administrative Assistant
Location: Vancouver
Status: Contract
Start: Immediately
Rate: Negotiable based on experience


Responsibilities

Organize and maintain all administrative and operations office files.
Take and prepare minutes at office meetings and distribute as required
Perform duties as a receptionist and help with general office inquiries.
Maintain and manage office supplies and stationaries.
Coordinate office maintenance and manage office vendors.
Organize meetings and lead special events in the office.
Manage catering and vendor orders.
Work with HR and Office manager in preparing and maintaining spreadsheets and databases.
Typing and distribution of general correspondence as required.
Open and distribute incoming mail and couriers.
Prepare outgoing mail and couriers.
Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner

 

Qualifications

At least 2 years experience working in a professional office environment.
Basic bookkeeping, data-entry and record keeping skills.
Experienced in organizational skills and priority management.
Strong communication and proof-reading skills.
Experience working in Mac environment.
Able to work in a "team" environment.
Able to prioritize time sensitive and heavy workload.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Be self-motivated, diplomatic, innovative and able to accept challenges.
Strong time management skills.
